Bayani

It was probably his parent's vision, that's why he was given such a noble name. Bayani.

I'm the last person to be ever interested in politics. Perhaps I have become so jaded with all the poverty surrounding my beloved Philippines that have conceded to the fact that maybe some things are meant to remain the way they are. Change in a third world country is a feat so hard to chase. Then came Bayani. He's not the most charming politician. He was probably the last in line when God showered the world with charisma. Tough Luck. But nevertheless, he delivers. Strong words were thrown at him like having the characteristics of a dictator in the making, iron fist man.. It would sound offensive but if I were to choose positivity, it's also a complement. He's not the one who would fall into something just because it's a popular choice. There are a multitude of things I would like to say but I'll wrap it up in one single sentence. I respect Bayani Fernando, always will.

As for our president, he was not really my bet. But the majority of our country believed in him and voted for him. With that, I will move forward and pray that Noy will be guided by the wisdom that both his parents instilled in him. And because the majority of Filipinos have placed so much hope in him, I pray that he will be able to bring forward the change that we are all asking for. So that in the end, regardless of who we voted and rooted for, it's time to set our differences aside pray for our nation.
