I'm now a certified Smart Gilas follower.
I'm happy I was able to watch 2 games... I almost felt unfortunate because my flights would always coincide with their games but I was there on their first game and I was also able to watch the finals. Ayos! I was still pumped up and ready to cheer even without sleep after a long Seoul flight. The gym was bursting with Pinoy pride and it was really fun to be one with everyone in rooting for our Smart Gilas. The first half closed so well, I almost could not believe how the game ended. But it's a game... whether or not it was a fair one, I'm really proud that Gilas came this far.
And what's a basketball game without a player to root for?!!
